The grants would not be available without generous donations, sponsorships, and fundraising events. We could not do it without you!

Your Checklist

You can help The Common Thread for the Cure Foundation in the following ways:

  • If you know someone affiliated with the design and furnishings industry who is currently battling breast cancer, please tell them about The Common Thread for the Cure and the grants.
  • Make a monetary donation to The Common Thread for the Cure.
  • As a company, or as an individual, donate funds for a grant.
  • Specify or purchase sponsors’ designated products that benefit the foundation.
  • Ask the company where you work to support The Common Thread for the Cure through financial contributions, matching funds, corporate sponsorship, or a fundraising event.
  • Attend, sponsor, or volunteer at one or more of the industry fundraising events held throughout the United States.
  • Spread awareness of The Common Thread for the Cure to friends, co-workers, and companies within the furnishings and design industries.

The companies and employees that comprise the design and furnishings industry are joined by a common thread... utilizing the aesthetics of design in the products that are manufactured and the services provided to enhance the environment where people live and work. The Common Thread for the Cure Foundation is a 501(c)(3) and has been established to unite the design and furnishings industry in the battle against breast cancer.
